CRTD has the capability to carry out standard rubber testing in accordance with ASTM test procedures. Test can be carried out for tensile and tear strength properties, rubber to metal bonding, heat aging studies, De Mattia & Goodrich Flexometer fatigue testing, low temperature brittleness and compression set testing. This allows for both comparative & compliance testing.
A part of what CRTD can do also is to formulate and develop rubber compounds to meet required product specifications. This is accomplished with the aid of both internal and mill mixing thus allowing the formulating and mixing trial laboratory batches for testing internally. A lab press enables the preparation of cured test specimens as well as other rubber products and prototype moulding.
